A month in the life of J L N – January 2012
How quickly has January gone? It has been a brilliant month here at JLN; we have welcomed 100’s of new students into our studios, it’s fantastic to see so many new eager students picking up the skill so well!
We have also introduced new classes to our timetable,
Pole E X T R E M E and Aerial Arts, the long awaited aerial equipment has finally been installed! Our students are offered the new courses first as they have been eagerly waiting so long but we will be offering our aerial courses to everyone come March!
Pole E X T R E M E courses have been designed to give you a high impact full body workout, increasing strength needed to achieve the high level pole positions. Have you got what it takes..?
Our instructors have not only been running both of our studios they have been out and about too.
Our very own UK Champion ‘Miss Pole Dance UK’ Jess Leanne Norris is often invited to pole related events. During January was the launch of a new competition ‘North East Pole Fitness Championships’ which took place in Scunthorpe. The competition was organised by Joanna Bragg from Pole Addictz Studio. Jess was invited to Judge along with Annie Norris & Tracy Huckfield. Jess was also a guest performer, the competition was a great success.
During January Jess was also invited to officially open a new Pole Fitness Studio in Blackburn. The new studio is owned by Leana Derbyshire & Nadine Blacow, they have named it DFA Studios. Both Leana & Nadine have had regular training with Jess and they have both worked very hard putting together their new studio, it is beautifully set out to a very high standard. The launch was a huge success and we wish them all the best.
Jess has also been travelling around the UK again running her Master Classes, she has had a fantastic time visiting other studios & meeting new students.
One of the fun parts on her travels was being asked for her autograph when stopping for a coffee at Starbucks, the staff members always ask celebrities to sign one of their mugs to put on the shelf, Emmerdale’s mug got pushed to the back to make room for Miss Pole Dance UK! Watch out world, Pole is taking over ;D
